Interesting indeed. However, I’ve found much cooler looking foldable bikes now, Change Bike. They make folding mountain, road and hybrid bikes with top parts like Fox forks.

Hi Johanna. I’ve given the bike back now, so am unable to measure this one for you. You’ll find that the length of bikes doesn’t change by a lot, even with smaller wheels. That is because our bodies need to perch in between both of the wheels when we ride a bike! Once folded, that’s a different story… Alee

Hi Alee, I’m thinking about getting one of these for my commute to work in London as I’ve been disappointed by the ride on other folding bikes but can’t get a full size due to lack of storage space, and no outside space to keep it. However the bike does look pretty big – do you have the unfolded dimensions, particularly the full length? Thanks in advance – Jo

And now that the 2016 Eclipse range uses 26" wheels in a lot more instances, the overall reach has been increased a bit and a new longer stem is said to be available in the near future. I took the 26″ Tern Joe 24 apart at the hinge and put it in a baggage box that passed as regular luggage. No bag charge on any airline. How cool is that!

Hi Alee, Only issue I see to flying with this (at least with Qantas or Emirates) is the folded size is given as :42 x 89 x 76 cm but Qantas max bike box size is 30 x 140 x 80.
